Non-surgical penis enlargement with filler
A hyaluronic acid filler, injected under a local anesthetic by a UroSculpt™-trained clinician, increases girth in a single office visit. No surgery is involved, the result lasts about two years, and the filler can be dissolved should you later change your mind.

Expected results
Increase in girth
The increase in girth depends on the volume of filler: up to 0.5 inch with 5 ml, up to 1 inch with 10 ml and up to 1.5 inches with 15 ml. Because the same volume is distributed over a larger area, it produces a smaller increase in a thicker penis, and your provider will advise you on what is realistic in your case.[1]
When results are visible
The added girth is visible when you leave the office. Swelling alters the appearance for the first one to two weeks, and the final result is typically evident at about four weeks.
Duration of results
Hyaluronic acid is absorbed by the body gradually, so the result lasts about two years. Many men return for additional treatment at some point, and your provider can dissolve the filler if you wish to reverse the result.[3]

The procedure and recovery
The following describes a typical treatment. Your provider's own plan, aftercare instructions and follow-up schedule may differ, and theirs are the ones to follow.
Consultation
Treatment begins with a consultation. Your provider reviews your medical history, examines you and talks you through your goals, then determines the appropriate amount of filler for you. This is where you ask questions and discuss results, risks and price. Full list of risks and complications →
The procedure
After a local anesthetic has taken effect, the filler is injected along the shaft through a fine cannula. The procedure takes under an hour, and most men leave the office 15 to 30 minutes after its completion, with the added girth visible immediately.
The first week after treatment
There may be swelling and bruising, which typically peak at about two to three days and then gradually diminish. Most men do not need to take time off work. Sexual activity should be avoided for at least one week so that the filler can settle where it was placed. Most providers do not use compression sleeves, wraps or molding routines during this period.
Weeks two to six
By the second week most of the swelling has resolved and the appearance is close to the final result, which is typically evident at about four weeks. Hot tubs and steam rooms should be avoided for four weeks. Your provider will advise you whether a follow-up visit is needed.
Cost
The price depends on the volume of filler and typically covers the consultation, the procedure and any follow-up visit. Each provider sets their own prices. The figures below are sample prices, intended as a general guide; your clinic will confirm its price at the consultation, and prices outside the United States may differ.

Safety and risks
Common side effects
Most patients have swelling and bruising for one to two weeks, and the area may be tender during healing. Mild unevenness while the filler settles is common and usually resolves without intervention. Rarely, numbness or altered sensation can occur during healing, but it is temporary.[1]
Uncommon and rare complications
Infection, lumps, migration of the filler from where it was placed and inflammatory reactions are uncommon. The most serious risk, filler entering a blood vessel, is rare. Hyaluronic acid can be dissolved with hyaluronidase*, which is why the technique taught uses hyaluronic acid and never a permanent filler such as silicone or PMMA.[4][3]
*Hyaluronidase dissolves filler in the penis. It cannot dissolve filler that has entered a vein and traveled to the lungs (a pulmonary embolus).
Who is not a candidate
- Patients under 18
- Patients with an infection or skin condition in the treatment area
- Men with significant curvature or a deformity that requires treatment first
- Men seeking an increase in erect length or a permanent result
Hyaluronic acid fillers are FDA-approved for use in the face; their use in the penis is off-label. Results vary from patient to patient.[2]

Common questions before booking a consultation
Is the procedure painful?
The treatment area is numbed with a local anesthetic before the procedure begins, and most hyaluronic acid fillers also contain lidocaine, so you remain awake and comfortable. Some tenderness and bruising should be expected for one to two weeks afterward.
Is the procedure completed in one visit?
Typically, yes, although this is determined with your provider. The full volume is usually injected in a single session, and the procedure takes under an hour. Many men return for additional filler at some point because they are pleased with the result. The price of filler added later may vary, but it is typically $590 per ml, regardless of the plan you started with.
Does penis filler increase length?
Penis filler increases girth. The larger plans also add a modest amount of flaccid length, up to 0.5 inch with 10 ml and up to 0.75 inch with 15 ml, but erect length does not change.
Is the result permanent?
No. Hyaluronic acid is gradually absorbed by the body, and the result lasts about two years, although this varies from patient to patient. If you wish to reverse the result sooner, your provider can dissolve the filler with an enzyme called hyaluronidase.
Will my partner be able to tell?
Once the swelling has resolved, the filler looks and feels like your own tissue, and most partners cannot detect it.
Will the filler affect sensation or erections?
The filler is placed in the subdermal layer, just beneath the skin of the shaft, rather than in the erectile tissue (corpora cavernosa), and it adds girth in both the flaccid and erect states. Rarely, numbness or altered sensation can occur during healing, but it is temporary.
Is penis filler covered by insurance?
No. Penis filler is an elective cosmetic procedure. Most clinics offer monthly payment plans through Cherry or CareCredit.
When can I return to work and resume sexual activity?
Most men do not need to take time off work and are able to resume normal activities within a few days. Sexual activity should be avoided for at least one week, and hot tubs and steam rooms for four weeks.
Who should I contact with questions before booking?
Contact the clinic you are considering. Each clinic's page lists its phone number, and at the consultation your provider will answer questions about your anatomy, the volume you need and the price.
Are you a provider interested in training? Physicians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants can train and become certified in the UroSculpt™ technique.
